Do I need to have a puzzle to exchange in order to request one? If this is your first week requesting from the Puzzles on Wheels library, you do not need to have any puzzles to exchange.
After my first week, do I need to exchange a puzzle in order to request one? The total number of Puzzle on Wheels library puzzles you should have in your possession at one time is three. If you have three puzzles and would like to request a new one, you need to return one that you have. If you’d like to request two new ones, you need to return two that you have. If you’d like to request three new ones, you need to return the three that you have.
Can I return a different puzzle in place of any puzzle that I received from Puzzles on Wheels? All Puzzles on Wheels library puzzles need to be returned to Puzzles on Wheels when you are done with them. DO NOT exchange a different puzzle in place of the one(s) you received.
What is the small bag that’s included with a puzzle? When you complete a puzzle, please place the edge pieces in the small bag (included in your puzzle box). In the future, if you receive a puzzle with the edge pieces already separated and would prefer to hunt for them yourself, just mix them in with the other puzzle pieces before you start. However, when you’re done, please place them back into the small bag for the next person.
Is it okay to write on the inside or outside of the boxes? When you complete any Puzzles on Wheels library puzzles, please DO NOT write anything on the inside or outside of the box. Writing “OK”, “all here”, “complete”, initials, or a date ruins the nice, clean look of the boxes.
What if there are pieces missing from a puzzle I received? If there are missing pieces, please DO NOT write “one piece missing” or “two pieces missing”, etc., on the box. Instead, please write it on a post-it note and stick the note to the outside of the box. Many times, those pieces are found and returned.
What if I find a puzzle piece(s) from a puzzle I already returned? Put it in a separate baggie and place it in the bag with any puzzles you’re going to return. If you have an idea of what puzzle it may be from, please include a note with that information to help return it to the correct puzzle and get it back into the available inventory.
What if the overall condition of the puzzle is in bad shape (e.g., missing knobs, damaged pieces, picture peeling off of the cardboard backing)? If you feel a puzzle should be retired due to its condition, please DO NOT write on the box. Instead, please write it on a post-it note and attach the note to the outside of the box.
When do I need to return the puzzles? Please return puzzles within a month.
